Trinity Parish Organizations

Trinity Parish Vestry: The Vestry is composed of a Senior Warden and a Junior Warden alternating terms between the two churches and six additional members from each church. This body is responsible for making financial and operational decisions for the parish. They meet on the 1st Monday of each month, alternating the location of the meetings at the church halls.

Thrift Shop:The mission of the Thrift Shop is to provide the community with clothing and household articles for purchase at afforable prices. The Thrift Shop is supplied by generous donations and is operated by volunteers from the parish and the community. It is operated out of Oldfields Clagett Hall and is open several mornings during the week and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

St. Albans Guild and St. Agnes Guild: These are the women's guilds for each church. They coordinate parish dinners and special functions at the halls. They are also responsible for several fund raisers throughout the year including card parties, dances, dinners, etc. Membership is open to all women of the parish.

Altar Guild:The members of the Altar Guild at each church are responsible for maintaining the sanctuary. The members change the hangings as the church seasons change, arrange the flowers and decorate the chrucaes for the holiday seasons. They also coordinate preparations for services including weddings,funerals and special events.

Acolytes: Children eight years of age and older are encouraged to become an acolyte. They participate in the services performing customary functions.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors: Trinity Parish has several active Lay Eucharistic Ministers which are licenced by the Diocese to administer the eucharist during church services or at parisoners' homes. Lectors read the scripture reading during the services. Anyone is welcomed to participate as a lector.
