Vacation Bible School 2007 - August 6th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Hall. We had 27 students in attendance! A great time was had by all students AND volunteers! Thanks to Liz Swann and family for organizing such a great success. Click on the links below to view pictures.

Welcome Reception - Sunday, September 30th the parish hosted a "Welcome Reception" for Rev. Meredith Syler and her husband Rev. Greg Syler at Trinity Hall. It was a beautiful afternoon of fellowship and good food. Check out some snapshots of the event below.

Deacon Meredith Syler's Installation Meredith's installation was performed on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at Oldfields Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon at Trinity Hall. There were many friends, family, visiting ministers and parishioners in attendance. A luncheon at Trinity hall followed the ceremony.

Parents' Day/Evening Out During two scheduled dates in December, parents dropped their children off at Trinity Hall for fun, crafts and movies while they took time off to shop, relax, etc. Thanks to Liz Swann for organizing the event and to everyone that volunteered their time and talents to make this first time event such a success.

Community Caroling - A bus load of carolers join in on the fourth annual Caroling event on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007. Thanks to Sam Graves for coordinating the "sleigh". This year in addition to visiting several houses, we spent time caroling for residents of two Nursing Homes in Charles County. The carolers as well as those being serenaded all enjoyed the festive event. After caroling We returned to Trinity hall for dinner and hot chocolate. Mother Meredith's Ordination Meredith was ordained into the Priesthood on Jan. 19, 2008 at the National Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. It was a beautiful ceremony and many people from Trinity Parish as well as St. George's Parish in Valley Lee were in attendance. Mother Meredith's First Mass as Priest - Mother Meredith's first mass was celebrated on Jan. 20, 2008 with a combined parish service at 10:00 a.m., Trinity Church. Holy Communion and Baptism for Nancy, Jaclyn, Shanyn, and Caitlyn Burch were celebrated. Click on the links below to view pictures.

Annual Parish Meeting - The Parish Annual Meeting was held on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 following a combined parish service at 10:00 a.m., Trinity Church. There was a pot-luck luncheon in the hall prior to the meeting. New vestry members were elected for the upcoming year. See a listing of the current vestry members on the "Points of Contact" page.

Pancake Dinner - Pancakes and all the extras were served at Trinity Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. We had a record crowd of hungry participants (and helpers)!
